The Yangtze River is the golden waterway with the world’s largest inland waterway in terms of freight volume. It is the main transportation artery connecting the three major economic regions of my country’s southwest, central and east China. There are mainly nearly 50 inland ports along the route, including Chongqing Port, Yichang Port, Wuhan Port, Huangshi Port, Jiujiang Port, Anqing Port, Wuhu Port, and Maanshan Port.
It mainly transports goods from cities along the Yangtze River that have no seaports to facilitate the export of products from inland areas of China.
